In September 2016, the Rugby League World Cup 2017 Organising Committee announced that for the first time in the sport’s history the Women’s Rugby League World Cup will be held concurrently with the men’s tournament.
With NSW Government support, all Women’s Rugby League World Cup 2017 pool matches and the semi-finals will be played at Southern Cross Group Stadium in Cronulla, Sydney, from 16 November 2017 – 26 November 2017. The winners of the two semi-finals will then contest the Women’s World Cup final as a double-header with the men’s final at Brisbane Stadium on 2 December 2017.
